Infrastructure / Systems Engineer

Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure / Systems Engineer to join our Global IT team. This role combines hands-on infrastructure support with systems engineering responsibilities, focused on maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing enterprise infrastructure and endpoint platforms across global locations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both on-premise and cloud environments, endpoint management, infrastructure operations, automation, and enterprise systems administration. This individual will work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Identity, and Service Desk teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and optimize global infrastructure environments, including on-premise and Azure cloud systems.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise endpoint platforms for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
  • Administer endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and Endpoint Manager.
  • Support device lifecycle management including provisioning, deployment, refreshes, and decommissioning.
  • Provide Level 2/3 engineering support for infrastructure and endpoint-related issues.
  • Engineer and execute infrastructure and endpoint migration/modernization initiatives with minimal business disruption.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft enterprise technologies including Active Directory, ADFS, DFS, GPO, SCCM, and virtualization platforms.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security standards including compliance policies, disk encryption, patch management, and privileged access controls.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure integrated infrastructure, networking, identity, and security services.
  • Participate in infrastructure design discussions focused on scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor infrastructure environments, troubleshoot issues, and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, compliance, and infrastructure governance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Endpoint Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with Windows 10/11 enterprise environments and server operating systems (Windows Server 2012/2019/2022).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID (Azure AD), Endpoint Manager, and modern endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise technologies including Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, ADFS, and DFS.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networking and enterprise infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCP)
  • Azure Certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki, Silver Peak, or Z-Scaler technologies.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MS SQL, Oracle, or RDS.
  • ITIL, CompTIA, Dell, or related industry certifications.
  • Project management or migration project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
