Job description

The Lead Infrastructure System Engineer shall perform configuration and installation services associated with supporting the Data Center equipment and connectivity.
  • Receive and install Data Center assets required to support life cycle, renewal/replenishment, capacity or performance requirements, including servers, storage devices, server applications, network, database, middleware, service utilities.
  • Maintain and upgrade any Data Center assets required to support life cycle, capacity or performance requirements, including servers Data Center Infrastructure) storage devices, server applications, database, middleware and service utilities.
  • Implement and coordinate all change management activities to the Data Center infrastructure including those that may affect any Service Levels, including those with respect to other Services, or any service levels provided by other third-party vendors.
  • Ensure that all changes to the Data Center assets are included and updated in the configuration management and/or other appropriate asset management system.

Requirements
  • Must have Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Must have 9 years' experience in architectural design and deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Must have 9 years' experience technical management of a service across the full life cycle, from inception through growth, maturity, and decline.
  • Must have 9 years' experience in services strategy and delivery.

Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Azure Solutions Architect certificate.
