Quantum Leap Research is hiring Mid-Level Network / Infrastructure Engineers to support day-to-day operations and ongoing enhancements across its on-premise infrastructure environment.

This role is ideal for engineers with a solid networking foundation and Linux experience who are eager to develop deeper skills in network engineering, automation, and infrastructure integration.


Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation and maintenance of network and infrastructure systems
  • Assist with configuration of devices (Cisco, Arista, VyOS) and Linux systems
  • Work with NOC to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams
  • Participate in system patching, upgrades, and validation efforts
  • Monitor system health and assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with other teams on network integration and system connectivity
  • Contribute to automation initiatives using Ansible and related tools


Qualifications:

Required

  •  Foundational understanding of:
    • Networking concepts and protocols
    • Routing and switching basics
  • Experience with Linux system administration (deployment/configuration)
  • Exposure to multi-vendor network environments (Cisco, Arista, VyOS preferred)
  • Experience maintaining documentation (NetBox or similar tools)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with willingness to learn


Preferred

  • Exposure to:
    • Ansible / automation tools
    • SDN concepts
    • OpenSearch or logging/monitoring platforms
    • Virtualization (e.g., Proxmox)
  • Experience working in datacenter or on-prem environments
  • Familiarity with configuration management practices


Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000. Salary ranges reflect compensation for qualified candidates across a range of experience levels and are flexible; actual salary will be determined based on demonstrated skills, experience, and performance.
