Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Outline of the Role:

We are looking to hire a dynamic Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development of organizational IT infrastructure across database systems, configure and manage network devices and more. The Senior-level Infrastructure Engineer is expected to have 5+ years of experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of organizational IT infrastructure across database systems, technology solutions, networks, and servers
  • Configure and manage network devices, performance, and servers
  • Act as subject matter expert for infrastructure needs
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms

Implement and optimize large data technologies and frameworks

Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve bottleneck issues

Keen understanding of our culture

Maintains documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics. Demonstrates designs and advocates for network improvements

Collaborates with application team members and advises on designs that will improve performance, provide insights to network issues

Familiarity with Cisco IOS, Meraki, Palo Alto, zScaler, InfoBlox, Aviatrix, desirable
