Job description

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule between Monday to Saturday, from 7am - 3:30pm.

Position Summary Description:

Responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer delivery and Will Call orders in coordination with Sales Support Coordinators. This includes providing high-quality food service support, retrieving and staging products in a variety of warehouse environments, and maintaining orderly Will Call staging areas. Additional responsibilities include supporting day-to-day warehouse operations as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing “Food-service Beyond Expectations” to all Will Call customers.  This is to be accomplished by providing timely and efficient delivery of orders, while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude.
  • Pulling orders from various environments (Frozen, Chill, & Dry) in the warehouse and partnering with the Management team to ensure that customers are receiving their product in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for daily and weekly monitoring of Will Call staging areas across Frozen, Chill, and Dry storage environments, ensuring all unclaimed product is returned to inventory within 48 hours. Coordinate deliveries in collaboration with the Sales Support Coordinator.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with Sales Support Coordinators via two-way/walkie-talkie radio systems.
  • Support receiving dock operations by contributing to workload management during slower periods.
  • Perform similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Six months to one year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food-service industry.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is frequently required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
