Job description

Pro Care is seeking a Program Director to join our IDD Services team. In this role, you will report to the Regional Manager. The Program Director provides operational leadership for assigned programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with Medicaid, HIPAA, accreditation standards, and company policies. This position leads office staff, supports quality outcomes, and promotes Pro Care's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned programs and office locations.
  • Hire, train, coach, and supervise office staff, including Assistant Program Directors and Care Coordinators.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid, HIPAA, accreditation, and company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor quality assurance activities, incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Manage service authorizations and collaborate with Care Coordinators and payer organizations to resolve issues.
  • Represent Pro Care at community events, provider meetings, and recruitment activities.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on exceptional client care and employee development.

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of management experience in the IDD or human services field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid regulations, HIPAA, and IDD service delivery.
  • Experience with quality assurance, compliance, and incident management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within the assigned region.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
