We are currently searching for several DYNAMIC Wellness Nurses to join our Heritage Point Senior Living team in the Mishawaka area. If you would like to make a difference in people's lives and you share our values and dedication, we'd love to meet you.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills, a strong understanding of providing nursing services to residents while promoting the highest level of well-being as directed by the Health Services Director and Regional Staff.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication and treatments according to health care providers' orders and state regulations.
  • Assist resident care coordinator in creating individualized service plans based on resident needs.
  • Dementia/Memory Care programming
  • Report changes of condition and work directly with the Director of Nursing to ensure that regulations and internal standards are met.

Qualifications
Minimum job requirements:
  • Current Licensed Nurse (LPN or LVN) in the state of practice.
  • 1-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an assisted living environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office program.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed organizational skills, problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of the team, while working to ensure team goals are met or exceeded.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population.
