Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Product Owner – Network Capability Delivery position for our client.

Drive the delivery of critical network modernization initiatives by serving as the Product Owner for Network Capability Delivery within the Authorization Modernization Program (AMP). In this role, you'll collaborate with Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to transform business needs into actionable product requirements, manage Agile backlogs, and ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise network capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Owner who excels at stakeholder management, Agile execution, and delivering complex technology initiatives.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Ongoing contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product backlog and manage requirements from discovery through delivery.
  • Define, refine, and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Product Management, and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning support, and sprint readiness activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and drive timely decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure business scenarios and acceptance criteria adequately support testing and successful product releases.
  • Monitor delivery progress and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop expertise in Authorization Modernization Program (AMP) initiatives and Network capabilities to effectively support ongoing delivery.
  • Continuously improve product delivery processes and requirement quality.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar Agile product delivery role.
  • Proven experience managing Agile product backlogs and supporting Scrum teams.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing product work.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, cross-team dependencies, and complex enterprise initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network, authorization, payments, or modernization programs is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale digital transformation or enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of network capabilities or authorization platforms.
  • CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or other Agile certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional Agile environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
