What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that 70% of the hiring decision should be based on skills, experience, and qualifications, while 30% should consider cultural fit and soft skills. For jobs like Weekend Only roles, this balance helps ensure candidates are both capable and adaptable to the specific schedule and environment.

What are the typical expectations and challenges for employees working in weekend-only positions?

Weekend-only roles often require flexibility and reliability, as these shifts typically occur during high-demand periods such as retail rushes or hospitality peaks.
