Compensation:

* Base Pay Range: $34.46 - $51.02 per hour, based on experience

* Shift Differentials: Additional $4.00 per hour for Night shift & $3.00 per hour for Weekend shift

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

* Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, and prescribesappropriate nursingactions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative patient needs, including discharge planning.

* Assesses, intervenes, and reassesses the patient's self-report and symptoms of pain promptly. Utilizes an appropriate tool for assessment and reassessment (0-10 numerical scale, FACES, or FLACC)

* Demonstrates an understanding of medicationsregardingaction and side effects. Reports pertinent information to theappropriate individual. Educates patients and significant others about their medications.

* Demonstrates the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions in accomplishing goals and intended patient care outcomes.

* Maintain the standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursingunit.

* Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups. Understands the attendance and punctuality guidelines, and adherence to the dress code.

* Reports pertinent observations and reactionsregardingpatients to theappropriate personand records those observations accurately and concisely.

* Provides quality patient care and works with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the highest patient satisfaction.

* May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. Whenprimarystate of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

* One (1) year of RN experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Additionallicense/certification requirements asdeterminedby the hiring department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role also routinelycomes into contact withpatients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day,365 daysa year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will berequired.
