What you get to do:

As the Busch Gardens Tampa Content Producer, you'll help lead the park's social + content strategy through the development of unique, high-quality and engaging videos and photos that support the company's brand marketing strategies, including social channels, public relations, digital, consumer activation, brand, and internal initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, collaborates well with multiple disciplines across an organization, has a passion for animals and conservation, and seeks a position at a purpose-driven organization. As a critical member within a passionate and hard-working marketing team, you will:

  • Direct and produce video/photo content production for year-round brand initiatives, developing content for Busch Gardens, Adventure Island & Howl-O-Scream social channels
  • Coordinate with in-park teams for video and photo shoots, including Social Media, Public Relations, Zoo, Culinary, and Corporate Partners
  • Work with a variety of agencies and internal resources to develop creative assets for use in paid media, digital channels and in-park. This includes leading and organizing large and small content shoots
  • Upload and manage content to Asset Management Library
  • Handle all video/image requests from other departments and corporate teams
  • Create working photo archives/library and ensure such archives are updated and organized for access and retrieval by supervisors and/or designated team members
  • Maintain video/photo equipment
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

  • Holds work outputs to the highest creative standards, helping to establish a best-in-class content presence
  • Bachelor's Degree, A.A. or equivalent technical experience preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in video production with an emphasis on digital and social media
  • Digital photography technical expertise at a professional level required
  • Advertising, journalistic photography, and long-form storytelling experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit a variety of digital content of diverse scenes and activities
  • Experience developing and editing animal photo/video is a major plus
  • Knowledge of and ability to conceptualize and shoot video including day and night, use of camera mounts, lighting, editing, and recording sound on location and in studio, as well as knowledge of music editing
  • Creative and strong conceptualization skills
  • Ability to work within creative specs and adapt to ever-changing landscape for social media and digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, additionally helping to manage live broadcasts as needed
  • Skilled in the technical use and applications to edit photos, videos, and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Highly organized, self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates adaptability and ability to work in an ever-changing fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with various departments and within varying organizational structures to achieve park and company goals
  • Must have a valid Driver's license and able to meet company driving guidelines
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, along with timely and accurate follow up

What else is important:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
  • Work regularly Monday through Friday but with flexibility based on business need to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
