Job description

Department: ADAMS Operations / Information Technology 
Reporting Relationships: Chief of Staff and Executive Director

Role Purpose: 
To support, maintain, and optimize ADAMS’ technology infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure efficient operations across all departments and locations. The IT Systems Analyst will serve as a key resource for troubleshooting, system improvements, data integrity, and user support.

IT SUPPORT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

Help Desk & Ticketing Management

  • Act as the primary administrator for the IT ticketing system (capture, categorize, track).
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (Tier 1) in a timely manner.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate only when all internal resources are exhausted.

Infrastructure & Shared Space Management

  • Lead the setup and maintenance of physical and digital "shared spaces" (conference rooms, SharePoint/OneDrive).
  • Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the ShareDrive.
  • Provide on-site support for events and programs across all ADAMS locations.

Data Systems & Database Maintenance

  • Regularly update and clean the organization’s central databases to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain a real-time digital inventory of all IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to update website Q&A and technical documentation.

System Optimization & Training

  • Lead monthly meetings with Department Heads to assess technology and security needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on platform usage (Smartsheet, M365) and cybersecurity.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend workflow improvements.

Administrative & Project Support

  • Manage technical onboarding/offboarding (account provisioning, device configuration).
  • Provide a Weekly Progress Report summarizing ticket status and project milestones.
  • Perform additional IT-related duties and projects as assigned by management.
