Job description

Rosina Food Products is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee manufacturing operations across multiple food production facilities. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring food safety and quality compliance, and developing high-performing leadership teams.
This is a key leadership position reporting into senior leadership and playing a critical role in the execution of company strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Provide leadership and direction to Plant Managers and site leadership teams
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and production performance
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, FSMA, and GMP standards
  • Oversee food safety, sanitation, and quality programs
  • Lead capital projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives
  • Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR teams
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and performance metrics
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Build and develop leadership teams and succession plans
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred)
  • 10-15+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple manufacturing sites
  • Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations and food safety systems
  • Experience with HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, and sanitation programs
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and plant operations
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, production environments
Preferred Experience
  • Protein, frozen food, or ready-to-eat manufacturing experience
  • Experience in USDA-regulated facilities
  • Experience leading large-scale operational improvements or expansions
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 per year
