      Food & Beverage Director

      Hill City Sports Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Director to oversee all food and beverage operations within the facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, staff leadership, customer experience, inventory control, and revenue growth while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and service.

      The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, customer-focused, and passionate about creating a welcoming dining and concessions experience for athletes, families, and guests.

      Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

      • Oversee all food and beverage operations, including concessions, café, snack bar, and event services

      • Manage daily opening and closing procedures

      • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise food & beverage staff

      • Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction

      • Monitor food quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards

      • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

      • Track sales, labor costs, and operational performance

      • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

      • Develop and implement operational procedures and service standards

      • Assist with menu planning, pricing, promotions, and special event offerings

      • Collaborate with facility leadership to support tournaments, camps, leagues, and special events

      • Address customer concerns professionally and efficiently

      Qualifications
      • Previous food & beverage management experience required

      • Strong leadership and team management skills

      • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

      • Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting

      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

      • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

      • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

      Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience managing concessions or food service in sports, recreation, hospitality, or entertainment venues

      • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

      • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain certification

      • Experience with POS systems and sales reporting

      Physical Requirements

      • Ability to stand and move throughout shifts

      • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

      • Ability to work in kitchen, concession, and event environments
