Position Summary
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating tow truck drivers, managing incoming calls, assigning service requests, and ensuring efficient, safe, and professional operations. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and knowledge of towing and roadside assistance procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, motor clubs, police departments, and clients.
  • Dispatch drivers to service calls using company dispatch software or radio/phone communication.
  • Monitor driver locations, job progress, and response times.
  • Provide accurate job details, directions, and special instructions to drivers.
  • Maintain communication with drivers throughout each assignment.
  • Enter and update call information in the dispatch system.
  • Coordinate priority calls, accident scenes, and emergency situations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service updates professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, times, and job statuses.
  • Assist with scheduling drivers and shift coverage when needed.

  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Going to impound yard to release vehicles and collect payments.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior dispatch, call center, or towing industry experience preferred.
