Schedule: Friday-Sunday 5pm-5:30am
Compensation: $23.50 + $4 Shift Differential
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Coordinates the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping product in
iDS and load documents to supervisors
• Coordinates paperwork from and to outside truck drivers dropping off and picking up
loads.
• Confer with supervisors/managers to coordinate warehouse activities and dispatch
activities.
• Processes cuts and communicates shortages to space planners, inventory control and
management.
• Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and
distribution services.
• Arranges for necessary shipping documentation and contact carriers for necessary
equipment outbound shipment to ensure on-time billing.
• Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.
• Answers phones.
• Assists other Dispatcher(s) with any necessary functions.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Sets up SDS returns to be handed out through iDS.
• Assigns receiving in iDS.
• Separates paperwork, spots and downloads orders for other shifts and assigns loads.
• Coordinates Home Depot transit orders.
• Track live loads to ensure no detention time and monitor doors.
• Separates and matches customer paperwork, packing slip requisitions and pre-load pick
sheets, noting special handling instructions where required.
• Spots orders according to bill time, spotting earliest bill times first.
• Manages and maintains organization of all paperwork for loads.
• Assigns and monitors pre-loader and loader progress to ensure timely billing in iDS.
• Works with outside truck drivers dropping off and picking up loads.
• Processes cuts and communicate shortages to space planners and Inventory Control and
management.
• Bills LTLs, RPs, Will-Call orders, and DLTL (Estes) before midnight.
• Monitors pre-loader and loader progress to ensure timely billing
• Reprints labels and paperwork for outbound loads
• Bills loads and put into carousel
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Experience: Two (2) years related dispatch experience preferred
• Computer Skills: Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, word
processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Strong working knowledge of MS Office to include
Outlook, Excel and Word. Ability to master internal computer systems.
