Pastor - Larkin Baptist Church

Larkin Baptist Church has faithfully served Spencer County, Indiana for over a century. We are an independent Baptist church committed to the authority of Scripture, the proclamation of the gospel, and the spiritual growth of our congregation.

We are a close-knit church family with an average Sunday attendance of approximately 65 people. Our congregation includes families, children, and senior adults who value biblical preaching, genuine fellowship, and meaningful community outreach.

Position Overview

Title: Senior Pastor

Type: Part-time (10–15 hours per week)

This position is well-suited for a bi-vocational minister or retired pastor who desires to continue active ministry leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

Preaching & Teaching

• Lead Sunday morning worship services

• Preach biblically grounded sermons each Sunday

• Lead Wednesday night Bible study

Pastoral Care

• Visit hospitals, nursing homes, and shut-in members

• Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance

• Offer crisis care and support
