Job description

The Club at 12 Oaks is seeking energetic, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Team throughout wedding season and the holiday season. Seasonal Banquet Staff play an important role in creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests by providing professional service and supporting the successful execution of weddings, private events, holiday celebrations, and club functions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an upscale, premier hospitality environment and takes pride in providing attentive service while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming event space.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of weddings, banquets, holiday events, and other club functions.
  • Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including setting tables, arranging chairs, placing linens, and preparing service stations.
  • Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service to members and guests.
  • Assist with passing hors d’oeuvres, serving plated meals, replenishing buffets, and clearing tables.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and welcoming presence throughout each event.
  • Work closely with banquet managers, event staff, culinary teams, and fellow service team members to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Follow all Club service standards, food-safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  • Keep banquet areas, service stations, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces clean and organized.
  • Complete all event breakdown and cleaning responsibilities before leaving at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with moving banquet equipment, tables, chairs, and event supplies as needed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and communicate concerns to a manager.
  • Represent The Club at 12 Oaks with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be available to work primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with additional weekday, evening, or holiday availability as needed.
  • Be able to consistently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, upscale, and premier hospitality environment.
