Job description

Hill International is seeking a Construction Project Management Intern in Orlando, Florida 

Hill International's Internship Program offers college students hands-on experience supporting real construction projects. Interns will work alongside experienced project and construction managers, participate in site visits, and gain exposure to scheduling, cost controls, and project coordination. Disciplines may include one or a combination of document control, project reporting and/or project tracking. The program includes professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help prepare students for a successful career in construction and project management. This is a 10-week Internship Program and is expected to begin in June 2026. The individual start and end dates of the internship may be flexible based on project needs and student availability.

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering or construction management; rising junior or senior preferred 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite with willingness to learn project or client specific software, as necessary  
  • Previous construction or construction management internship/work experience a plus 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset  
  • Must be local to the posting location and willing to work full-time on-site 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from local project site(s) and/or client meetings

  • Assist in the overall day-to-day management of construction project(s) 
  • Participate in project meetings to gain a greater understanding of the project delivery process 
  • Help in resolving issues on-site and participate in site inspections for quality control 
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of project schedules, budgets and cost estimates; help ensure schedule and budget are maintained within appropriate parameters throughout project duration 
  • Support subcontractor and vendor management and coordination  
  • Assist with creating and maintaining project documentation, including daily reports, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, etc., while maintaining data entry requirements and following processes and procedures  
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies  
  • Other duties as assigned by manager Â
