Job description

Description

A major international software company is seeking a Traffic Manager to support the content team. We produce high-quality digital marketing content, including web, e-mail, SEO articles, and e-books – at a massive volume inhouse and give other projects to agencies. We need you to help us make the magic happen by putting the right projects in the right hands, at the right time.

Our team believes in connecting with customers at scale, supporting them at each stage of the customer journey, especially through the early awareness and consideration stages. You’ll be in the middle of it all, triaging new work requests to ensure they’re complete so the copy team can hit the ground running. You’ll be the oil in the content engine connecting hundreds of stakeholders with the right resources on our team, enabling us to deliver thousands of copy projects each year.

Responsibilities:

 Manage submissions: Check submissions for completeness to start a project. Guide stakeholders on how best to submit requests to get the results they need. Discuss timelines if unrealistic.

 Traffic projects: Decide if a project will be assigned to our inhouse team or is handled by an agency – based on defined content types.

 Briefing checks: make sure all relevant details are included in the brief to start content production and reach out to requesters in case anything is missing.

 Traffic projects: Decide if a project will be assigned to our inhouse team or is handled by an agency – based on defined content types.

 Assign projects: Identify the right resource for each writing and editing project.

 Publish assets to CMS: Prepare final produced assets for publishing, following naming conventions, relationship setting, and metadata completeness. Upload consent forms.

 Help with governance checks for global and localized assets: Review of branding and legal requirements to ensure compliance with SAP marketing publication rules.

 Support with project management: Provide project management as needed within content operations.

 Report on projects: Track and report on active and completed projects.

 Help optimize processes and tools: Provide regular feedback to ensure the team functions seamlessly, supported by the right tools and processes.

 Train team on processes and tools: Help to onboard team members and new contractors with documentation and training.

Qualifications

 2+ years’ traffic management or project management experience in an enterprise-scale environment.
