Job description

Position Summary:
You will build the web applications through which people understand and operate our robots-the dashboards, monitoring tools, and customer-facing interfaces that turn a fleet of robots and a firehose of robot data into something people can see, trust, and act on. This is a fullstack role with a strong front-end center of gravity: you'll craft polished, responsive interfaces while also building the APIs and services behind them. You'll work close to the domain, shaping how fleet status, telemetry, and operational data are surfaced to both our customers and our own team, and you'll own features end-to-end from data model to pixels.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Web Application Development: Design and build customer-facing and operational web applications-fleet monitoring dashboards, status and telemetry views, and control and configuration UIs.
  • Front-End Craft: Create clean, responsive, performant user interfaces, with attention to usability, clarity, and the realities of displaying live operational data.
  • Full-Stack Ownership: Build and maintain the backend APIs and services that power these applications, owning features from data model through UI.
  • Data Presentation: Turn robot and fleet data-telemetry, health, events, analytics-into clear, actionable views, working with the pipelines that deliver that data.
  • Cloud Services: Develop and operate the web-facing services in the cloud, with attention to reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Partner with fleet, robot software, and product stakeholders to understand what customers and operators need and translate it into great software.
  • Quality & Iteration: Build well-tested, maintainable software and iterate quickly based on real user feedback.

Required Qualifications:
  • Fullstack Web Experience: Proven experience building and shipping production web applications end-to-end, with a strong front-end focus.
  • Front-End Depth: Deep proficiency with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework and the fundamentals of performant, accessible, responsive UI.
  • Backend & APIs: Solid experience designing and building web APIs and the services behind them.
  • Cloud Fluency: Working experience deploying and operating web applications on a major cloud provider.
  • Data-Driven UIs: Experience building interfaces that present live, data-dense, or real-time information clearly.
  • Software Craftsmanship: Track record of writing well-tested, maintainable code and caring about the quality of the end-user experience.
  • Ownership: Ability to take features from ambiguous requirements through design, implementation, and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in or experience with robotics, IoT, fleet management, or other systems that surface real-world device data.
  • Experience with real-time data in the browser (websockets, streaming, live dashboards).
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries and techniques.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant or customer-facing security concerns.
  • Exposure to the data pipeline and analytics side (warehouses, query layers, telemetry stores).
