Summary

Be the connection that keeps production and customer orders moving seamlessly. As a Wave Planner, you will ensure production schedules are accurate, up to date, and released correctly to support efficient operations. You will also play a critical role in maintaining accurate product and customer information within the Warehouse Management System, helping ensure orders are processed correctly and delivered on time. This role is ideal for detail-oriented problem solvers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on operational success and customer satisfaction. 

This position has a target wage of $20 - $30 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate WPL schedule or Production Planned Workload daily.
  • Strategically wave plan orders to the production lines based on product availability.
  • Monitor product availability in SAP and in Allocations Report.
  • Communicate with leadership management team on trailers needed to complete       schedule in production.
  • Communicate with supply planners on order number and quantity changes.
  • Manage age code and sell-by updates as orders are planned for production.
  • Make necessary changes to reflect on shelf-life.
  • Communicate with WPL and Warehouse management team on timed dock outs.
  • Monitor product being received in dock out completion order.
  • Make mock order entries based on product shortages and production changes.
  • Rotate inventory in allocations using catalyst systems by using the FIFO principles.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Determine which product to load by using basic reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Correctly process data entry instructions.
  • Must be able to direct workflow for timely processing of product.
  • Supervisors and Leads are available for items not covered in normal operations.
  • Higher approval is required for any deviations from SOP.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Reading, writing, math and analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 3 months prior and related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Must wear mandatory personal protective equipment.
  • Climate controlled environment. 
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment, such as a computer, printer, telephone, copier, fax etc.
  • Some equipment is located 50 feet away. 
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to file as necessary.
  • Ability to remain stationary for intervals of 2 hours. 
  • Must be able to move though the facility. 
  • Ability to occasionally lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Exposure to the distribution/production environment.
