Job Description:
Senior Allocation & Wave Planner is responsible for the successful coordination of all orders through the warehouse.
What you'll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing, training, instructing, and resolving issues escalated by the Allocation team.
  • Ensures orders are being properly managed and processed through the warehouse.
  • Monitors the system to identify stuck or lost orders.
  • Coordinates with material handlers on movement of goods from overstock to the pick area.
  • Investigates and resolves held short and held format orders to resolution.
  • Investigates and solves workflow issues using knowledge of all DC operations.
  • Effectively communicates issues and directions to associates.
  • Monitors released wave progress through the Pick, Pack and Ship process communicating with the respective functional Supervisor of any delays in processing.
  • Compiles data from ERP and WMS System and reports as needed in support of key performance indicator monitoring.
  • Runs daily orders released reports and ensures proper processing to close and deliver orders.
  • Assists and resolves complex or problem situations; provides system matter expertise; assists with training and instructing co-workers regarding operational procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 2-5 years of related experience required
  • Microsoft Office Experience Required. Must have knowledge and ability to extract data from warehouse management system and perform basic functions to analyze data
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of WMS wave planning software is needed to evaluate issues and to maximize efficiency
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work through complex projects and provide detailed updates
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to ask questions when directions are needed
  • Motivates other team members

Base Pay: $23.00/hour + bonus
