Job Description
The Campus Floating Wave Planner is a versatile planning resource responsible for supporting multiple clients across the Louisville campus. This role is designed to build planning bench strength by providing coverage during PTO, supporting volume surges, assisting with onboarding and training of new planners, and ensuring continuity of operations. The position operates Monday through Friday and requires strong cross-functional knowledge, adaptability, and collaboration.
YOUR TASKS
  • Serve as a floating planner across all Louisville-based clients, maintaining working knowledge of each client's planning processes, volume patterns, and service requirements
  • Provide coverage for planner PTO, absences, or open roles to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Support planners during periods of higher-than-normal volume by assisting with wave planning, workload balancing, and priority management
  • Quickly adapt to changing client needs and planning environments
  • Become fully cross-trained and proficient in all Louisville client planning workflows, tools, and standard operating procedures
  • Act as a flexible campus-level resource to strengthen overall planning resilience and continuity
  • Share best practices and lessons learned across clients to help standardize and improve planning effectiveness
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (subject to change based on coverage role)
  • Work Location: On-site at the Louisville campus

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in planning or a related operational role
  • Strong understanding and experience using a warehouse management system (preferred SAP)
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly and apply them accurately
