We are a high-end home staging company that delivers furniture and decor throughout the NY tri-state area. The Warehouse Manager provides direct support, supervision and coordination to the warehouse & moving crews to ensure the overall success of the operation. We are looking for a motivated and personable warehouse manager who can take the initiative and is passionate. The ability to thrive in a team environment and work well with others is essential.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Warehouse manager provides direct support, supervision and coordination to the warehouse & moving crews to ensure the overall success of the operation
  • Manage warehouse and transport teams by training, setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, development and progressive discipline.
  • Manage and control condition and security of inventory including proper storage, handling, disposal, transfer, cleaning and repair.
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and inventory.
  • Manage warehouse organization and special projects.
  • Manage productivity and performance of each team member.
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and security of the warehouse.
  • Ensure that safety standards are adhered to in all areas of the warehouse.
  • Provide necessary training on basic furniture handling, furniture repair, installation procedures and safety.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to control labor, inventory, and supply costs.
  • Communicate with Sales and Design Team about inventory and scheduling.
  • Provide consistent top-level customer service.
  • Exemplify the Company values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a warehouse
  • Work history with furniture management, delivery or home staging a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of personnel and clients
  • Must have a service-oriented and can-do attitude
  • Must be organized and detailed
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Computer proficiency (Google, Excel, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a warehouse
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of personnel and clients
  • Ability to train, delegate and manage a team
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Computer proficiency (Outlook, Google, Excel, etc.)
