Job description

Position Summary:Plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.
Essential Duties and Functions: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
  • Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery or distribution of products or materials.
  • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order maintenance or repairs.
  • Plan, develop or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
  • Review invoices, work orders or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
  • Train warehouse personnel.
  • Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
  • Confer with branch personnel to coordinate warehouse activities.

  • Military Warehouse Inspections $ A Military inspection bonus of $500.00 will be earned provided a score of 90% or above on each military inspection done within the calendar year. (33.33%)
