Job description

Position Summary:Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports.
Essential Duties and Functions: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
  • Receive and count incoming shipments, and record data manually or using computer
  • Operate Forklift
  • Liaison with Corporate IT warehousing staff
  • Pack and unpack items to be stored warehouse or storage yards
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse or other areas
  • Mark stored items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
  • Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions
