The Role:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Household Relocation Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and support moving and relocation services. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, managing inventory, ensuring accurate shipment processing, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and can effectively lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily warehouse activities, including outbound pulls, inbound shipments, and move-related preparations.
  • Lead and organize warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments according to company standards.
  • Verify pull tickets and confirm the accuracy and completeness of all orders.
  • Track daily warehouse activities and communicate progress, issues, and operational updates to management.
  • Assist warehouse associates and fill in operational roles as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and storage organization.
  • Ensure shipment, inventory, and transaction accuracy.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to warehouse operations and inventory status.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for all received and dispatched goods.
  • Load, unload, and secure customer belongings and products safely onto trucks.
  • Ensure all required equipment is loaded for deliveries, relocations, and moves.
  • Complete load documentation and return required paperwork to Operations.
  • Support delivery and moving teams to ensure on-time service execution.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers by answering questions and resolving concerns when necessary.
  • Promote a positive customer experience during warehouse, delivery, and relocation operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Report workplace concerns, incidents, or policy violations promptly.
  • Participate in required meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, moving, transportation, or related experience.
  • Ability to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid forklift/power equipment certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Team Lead, Supervisor, or warehouse leadership experience.
  • Experience in the moving, storage, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds unassisted.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working around dust, dirt, grease, and warehouse equipment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on operational needs.
