About This Position
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, supervising all warehouse personnel, and keeping warehouses in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Supervise all warehouse employees
  • Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members
  • Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis
  • Facilitation of training activities, schedules, instructs, and delivers training programs, including general and specialized training sessions
  • Keep accurate receiving records
  • Maintain accurate records of intercompany shipments on a daily basis
  • Keep production areas stocked
  • Keep warehouses in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations
  • Take accurate physical inventories as needed
  • Warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Work closely with production supervisors to help meet daily production quotas
  • Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
  • Other duties as determined by the needs of the business

What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Good understanding of OSHA and FDA regulations

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
