Warehouse Supervisor

Total Seed Production is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, product inspections, and distribution activities. This role is responsible for leading warehouse team members, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and prioritize daily work for warehouse team members
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities
  • Ensure products are inspected, approved, and shipped accurately
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse documentation
  • Conduct monthly warehouse inspections
  • Handle nonconforming products and implement corrective actions
  • Support equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
  • Lead by example in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment
  • Assist other departments and projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions and lead a team
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred
  • Ability to operate warehouse and heavy equipment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and warehouse noise
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely
