VP, Strategic Partnerships

Influential is looking for an experienced VP, Strategic Partnerships on the West Coast to help drive growth and become a champion of our product and offerings. The ideal candidate will have extensive client and agency relationships across various Fortune 500 brands. The candidate will have a proven track record, who is trusted by their brand partners, and respected as a leader in the industry. You'll report directly to our EVP, Strategic Partnerships, becoming an integral part of the sales team that will lead us into our next stage of growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales cycle: effectively conduct needs analysis, succinctly communicate Influential's vision in the market, and proactively negotiate deals to close.
  • Own relationships and secure new partnerships with clients outside the Publicis Groupe umbrella.
  • Collect insights into a client's organizational structure, online and offline marketing strategy, and ideal demographic.
  • Participate in weekly meetings, sales, and product trainings.
  • Identify market opportunities, process improvements, and facilitate market feedback.
  • Closely track internal KPIs, be mindful of team objectives and key results, and follow best practices for automated performance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of sales experience in selling managed service influencer marketing campaigns and/or relevant agency experience
  • Strong client/industry relationships in the West Coast market
  • Prior experience securing multi-year seven figure partnerships
  • You have previously engaged with leaders at agencies and Fortune 500 companies
  • Proven record of exceeding quarterly objectives and attention to key metrics
  • Experience with Salesforce and other productivity related SaaS products
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Selling experience in the social/media space preferred
  • Bonus points if: Experienced at a marketing-tech or media start-up
  • You're passionate about social media and/or influencer marketing
