Backed by Provest Equity Partners, APS is focused on operational excellence, disciplined growth, and building scalable manufacturing capabilities to support expanding customer demand.
Position Summary
APS is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and continuously improve manufacturing and operational performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned operations leader with strong engineering fundamentals and proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing in complex, high-reliability manufacturing environments.
 
The VP of Operations will oversee day-to-day operations while building systems, teams, and processes that support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all manufacturing and operations functions, including production, supply chain, quality, and facilities
  • Implement, scale, and sustain Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Six Sigma)
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
  • Establish and manage KPI-driven operating rhythms and performance reviews
  • Partner with engineering and commercial teams to support customer requirements and product execution
  • Develop and mentor operations and manufacturing leadership
  • Support operational diligence, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (required)
  • 6 + years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations leadership
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing across teams and processes
  • Strong understanding of engineered or complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting semiconductor infrastructure manufacturing is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and execute in fast-paced environments
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in PE-backed, high-growth, or transformation environments
  • Exposure to operational scaling, process standardization, and systems implementation
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
