Job Description:

Job Description - Customer Quality Role (AI XPU Semiconductor Products) Ensures that high quality products are designed and manufactured by Broadcom, in conformance with industry and internal corporate standards/regulations. The individual would liaison/drive issue resolution between customers/distributors/authorities and Broadcom's quality, manufacturing and design teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and resolves issues using traditional and non-traditional techniques and processes (8D, CAPA, 6Sigma, etc...)
  • Actively support and participate in qualification activity of products.
  • Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system. This involves managing CM Quality, ensuring effectiveness of Outgoing Quality gates at CM sites, reliability monitoring and in process quality gates.
  • Coordinates resolution of customer quality issues through Corrective Action Request (CAR) process. Advises severity of problems and initiates product recalls upon approval from management.
  • Write, analyze and close CAR for all customer complaints, returns and disposition customer RMA material.
  • Drive internal groups and CM's to ensure lower customer DPPM and other metrics as defined internally and/or customer.
  • Actively engage/manage suppliers to drive zero defects/continuous improvement. Manage and participate in supplier on-site audit programs.
  • Regular direct customer interface on quality issues, improvement initiatives and alignment of customer requirements.
  • Application of statistical tools and quality tools to drive problem solving and decision making.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (Electrical or Electronics) or Material Science background.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of semiconductor manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experienced in dealing with internal/external customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills -Good organizational skills in coordinating team activities/ Team player
  • Experience in Semiconductor contract manufacturers management (i.e. audit, issue resolution, supplier management, etc.)
  • Familiarity with industry standard (i.e. ISO9001, TS16949, AEC-Q100, JEDEC) or customer specific requirements.
  • Experience with advanced die and package technologies is a plus
  • Possess knowledge in failure analysis and reliability assessment for semiconductor packages

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is$88,300 - $157,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
