Job Description

We are seeking aย Technician: Engineering Laboratory - IIย to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience inย semiconductor and materials analysis techniques, lab operations, and technical reportingย and a proven ability toย execute complex failure analysis workflows and communicate findings to engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sample preparation and analysis, including X-sectioning, delayering, ion milling, and FIB.
  • Operate and maintain SEM, EDX, X-ray, and optical inspection tools to support engineering investigations.
  • Document test methods, observations, and results; generate clear reports and present findings to yield engineers and LYA analysts.
  • Apply basic statistical analysis and data organization using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Follow safety, cleanliness, and lab operational procedures for 100% onsite work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • AA degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Mechanics.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency with analysis techniques: X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray, optical inspection, ion milling, and FIB.
  • Working knowledge of basic statistical analysis and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate findings verbally and in written reports to engineering audiences.
  • Ability to perform in a collaborative, ambiguous, and changing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting yield analysis or lab-based failure analysis for semiconductor products.
  • Familiarity with NPI environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Work Schedule & Onsite Requirements:

  • 100% onsite. Laptop will be issued.
  • Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM.
  • Project: Intel IFS NPI Product.
