Position Summary
The Virtual Metrology Engineer is responsible for utilizing Virtual Metrology data coupled with other factory data to perform real-time analysis to identify best manufacturing paths combination to reduce yield variabilities. The role combines data science, metrology expertise, yield analysis and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact solutions for manufacturing productivity and quality.
Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Develop and optimize new Virtual Metrology recipes for Feed-Forward and Feedback APC's (Advanced Process Control).
  • Using big data to identify best combo manufacturing paths to reduce yield variabilities.
  • Derive new indices for dynamic and optimal run paths control.
  • Expert in Data Analysis (Statistics, Design of Experiments - DOE)
  • Knowledge of Metrology measurement techniques (THK, CON, OCD, CD, VM, IM).

Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
  • Bachelor in Engineering, Mathematics, or Systems Analysis. Master preferred.
  • Able to prioritize large workloads on a daily basis (Multitasking).
  • Experience with FAB automation, unit parts' processes and reporting systems.
  • Experience with Spotfire, JMP or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point.

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
