Job Description

Sika is searching for a talented highly experienced marketing professional for our VP position.  In this role, the VP of Marketing would have full responsibility for product management/marketing and promotional support of Sika  Automotive and Industry businesses (USA).  The VP would develop, implement, and manage all aspects of the marketing plan targeting specific segments with programs that ensure profitable and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal Marketing and Product Management team for effectiveness and performance to expectations
  • Align departmental resources and activities to the aligned and agreed on business KOI's and driven strategies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine size and attractiveness of targeted market segments
  • Understand Sika's market share vs. competition, measure it regularly and strategize for growth
  • Complete competitive analysis as required to support product position vs competitive threats
  • Assist in development of a 3-year strategic plan
  • Develop a 1-year marketing plan with Sales Management and implement on-time according to established budget 
  • Manage the internal RFP process for approval of development projects
  • Support Sales to support NBS- new booked sales targets
  • Oversee internal communications where requested (Newsletters, special events)
  • Manage special projects introduced by Senior Executive Staff as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Technical field of study
  • MBA is most desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a marketing/sales role
  • Product Management experience is required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Automotive Industry
  • High level of communication skills
