  • Lead the strategy, performance, and execution of growth marketing across web, paid media, demand generation, and content.

Job description

About the Role

ThoughtSpot is looking for a VP of Growth Marketing to lead the strategy, performance, and execution of the company’s growth engine across web, paid media, demand generation, and content.

This is a senior leadership role for a marketer who knows how to turn company strategy into market momentum, pipeline, and revenue.

The right candidate brings a strong point of view on how to build demand in a modern B2B environment, balancing brand and performance, long term growth and near term results, and global consistency with regional impact.

This leader will own the digital and demand programs that shape how buyers discover ThoughtSpot, engage with our story, and move to pipeline.

They will partner closely with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Sales, SDR, Regional Marketing, and Marketing Operations to ensure growth strategy is aligned to business priorities and executed with precision.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead ThoughtSpot’s growth marketing strategy across web, paid media, demand generation, and content.
  • Build and scale a high performing growth engine that drives awareness, engagement, pipeline creation, and revenue impact.
  • Own the company website as a strategic growth asset, improving positioning, buyer journeys, conversion, and experimentation.
  • Set the paid media strategy and investment model across channels, with clear accountability for performance, efficiency, and scale.
  • Lead demand generation programs that support both new business acquisition and expansion opportunities.
  • Build a content strategy that supports the full buyer journey, strengthens ThoughtSpot’s market position, and improves conversion at every stage.
  • Establish a rigorous operating cadence around goals, investment decisions, performance insights, and optimization.
  • Use data to determine where to invest, where to improve, and where to stop, bringing discipline and clarity to growth decisions.
  • Partner cross functionally to ensure growth programs are tightly aligned with campaign priorities, segment strategy, regional needs, and sales motions.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a strong team while building a culture of accountability, experimentation, speed, and high standards.
What Success Looks Like
  • ThoughtSpot’s website becomes a stronger driver of qualified demand and buyer conversion.
  • Paid and digital programs deliver measurable pipeline impact with improving efficiency over time.
  • Demand generation consistently contributes to company growth goals across segments and regions.
  • Content plays a meaningful role in market education, buyer progression, and revenue creation.
  • Growth investments are prioritized with discipline and tied clearly to business outcomes.
  • Sales and cross functional partners view Growth Marketing as a strategic growth driver, not just a channel owner.
  • The team operates with clarity, urgency, and a strong bias for execution and results.
Who You Are
  • You are a proven B2B SaaS marketing leader with deep experience across growth, demand generation, digital, and content.
  • You can operate at both strategic and operational altitude.
  • You are strong in performance marketing and conversion, but equally strong in judgment, prioritization, and leadership.
  • You are comfortable owning ambitious pipeline goals and making hard calls on tradeoffs, investments, and focus.
  • You have experience working across enterprise and commercial motions, ideally in a high growth technology environment.
  • You are clear, credible, and effective with peers across Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • You have a track record of building teams and scaling performance over time.
  • You thrive in a fast moving environment and are motivated by measurable impact.
Preferred Experience
  • 12 or more years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including senior leadership in growth or demand generation.
  • A track record of leading web, paid, demand generation, and content functions at scale.
  • Experience driving pipeline and revenue in both product led and sales led environments.
  • Familiarity with analytics, data, AI, or enterprise software markets.
  • Experience supporting global go to market teams across AMER, EMEA, and APJ.
  • A strong understanding of how AI is reshaping content, digital execution, and growth strategy.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Estimated annual salary range in California: $190k – $280k per year.
  • Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location of the selected candidate.
  • Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits.
