The Vice President of Growth is responsible for defining and executing LegalZoomโ€™s end-to-end growth strategyโ€”accelerating customer acquisition and retention across organic discovery (SEO/AEO), paid media, lifecycle engagement, and marketing technology infrastructure.
This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Finance, Data, and Technology, ensuring alignment between how LegalZoom attracts customers, converts demand, deepens relationships, and scales efficiently.
This leader translates company strategyโ€”including LegalZoomโ€™s three-year growth planโ€”into integrated, measurable growth programs that operate as one connected engine. They are responsible for accelerating customer acquisition across both new entrepreneurs and established businesses, while leveraging AI and technology to improve performance, efficiency, and long-term enterprise value.

Growth Strategy, Leadership & Collaboration

Paid Media & Performance Marketing
โ— Own performance marketing strategy across Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, Partnerships, and emerging channels

Lifecycle, Retention & Expansion

AI-Driven Growth & Operational Efficiency

โ— Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to drive measurable operational and performance gains
โ— Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant marketing investment

โ— Data-informed leader with comfort defining metrics and building measurement frameworks
โ— Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams

The salary range for this role is $216,000 - $345,600. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
