About the Growth Organization

The Growth team at CookUnity is the driving force behind our mission to scale the chef-to-you marketplace category and bring our incredible chef-crafted product to millions of new eaters. We are storytellers, strategists, and operators—fueled by data, creativity, and the pursuit of exponential growth.

As we expand our national footprint, the Growth organization plays a key role in shaping how CookUnity acquires, retains, and re-engages customers, blending performance marketing, product innovation, and brand storytelling to redefine what "meal delivery" can be.

About the Role

The Vice President, Growth Marketing will lead the next stage of CookUnity's growth engine. This executive will own the company's full-funnel growth strategy, driving customer acquisition, activation, retention, and lifetime value across all digital and offline channels.

You will set the vision, strategy, and operational rigor for paid and organic growth while partnering closely with Brand, Product, Data, and Creative leadership. You will oversee a high-performing team of marketers and channel experts across Paid Social, Search, CRM, CRO, and Emerging Platforms—building scalable, data-informed systems that accelerate new customer growth and deepen engagement across the CookUnity experience.

This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and plays a critical part in shaping the company's strategic roadmap, with visibility across executive and board-level discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Growth Strategy: Own the full-funnel growth vision and roadmap, integrating paid, owned, earned, and product-led growth initiatives to scale efficiently while protecting CAC and maximizing LTV.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a team of high-performing growth marketers, channel leads, and analysts focused on acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Channel Excellence: Oversee performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, DSPs, and emerging channels, while expanding into new frontiers such as influencer, affiliate, and partnership-based growth.
  • Data & Experimentation: Foster a rigorous culture of testing, measurement, and optimization—leveraging analytics, attribution, and cohort insights to drive decisions.
  • Product-Led Growth: Partner with Product and Tech to identify and execute high-impact growth loops, cross-sell, upsell, and referral initiatives across the CookUnity ecosystem.
  • Brand x Growth Integration: Collaborate with Creative and Brand to develop compelling storytelling and performance-driven creative that elevates CookUnity's chef-led value proposition.
  • Forecasting & Performance Management: Own growth forecasting, budget allocation, and reporting across all digital and offline performance channels.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and platforms (AI, personalization, creator economy, etc.)—ensuring CookUnity remains at the forefront of modern marketing innovation.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital acquisition, and lifecycle management within fast-paced, high-growth DTC or marketplace environments.
  • Proven success leading large-scale customer acquisition and retention programs across multiple channels.
  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, cohort analysis, and performance forecasting.
  • Exceptional leadership experience building and managing teams across media, data, creative, and product functions.
  • Strong background in experimentation frameworks, conversion rate optimization, and funnel diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives to shape company strategy and growth objectives.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets with an ROI-driven, analytical mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Personal Characteristics
  • Visionary leader with entrepreneurial energy, strategic clarity, and a bias toward action.
  • Balances creativity and analytical rigor—equally fluent in data dashboards and storytelling decks.
  • Highly collaborative and capable of influencing across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Deep empathy for the customer and passion for building a category-defining brand.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, combining big-picture thinking with tactical execution.
  • Strong communicator who inspires teams, energizes partners, and can represent CookUnity externally as a growth thought leader.

A quick note for all candidates
We've recently seen an increase in recruitment scams across the industry, and we want to make sure you (and your data) stay safe while applying to CookUnity. We also want you to know that we take this seriously — sometimes, as part of our process, we may ask for a brief "proof of humanity" to confirm that we're connecting with a real person, not an impersonator. • Apply only through our official channels. All open roles are listed on our official careers page: careers.cookunity.com
  • Our recruiters are real people — and easy to verify. You can always find them on LinkedIn with verified profiles. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us on our official LinkedIn Company Page.

  • We'll never ask for payment or personal financial details. If anyone does, please don't share any information and let us know right away.

If something ever feels off or you're unsure about a message, we'd much rather you double-check with us. You can always contact us directly through any of our social media channels.
