The Position:
The VP, Growth is a senior business development leader responsible for expanding BPD's presence within the health system market. This role focuses on acquiring new health system clients, strengthening executive relationships, and driving revenue growth across BPD's portfolio of marketing, brand, and data-enabled solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Growth, the VP oversees the full new-business development lifecycle-from lead generation and opportunity development to proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate for this position is an AI-enabled new business professional with the ability to learn and position BPD capabilities that solve health system's complex needs.
The Responsibilities:
Includes, but not limited to the following:
  • Drive acquisition of new logos across the top 250 healthcare systems in the United States.
  • Lead the development and execution of revenue and profitability goals, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Implement the health system growth strategy and operating plans to support annual and long-term objectives.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the health system and hospital customer needs to inform new solution models and go-to-market approaches.
  • Partner with senior executives, Principals, and cross-functional teams to support an aligned and effective new-business engine.
  • Utilize AI tools and appropriate systems for consistent monitoring of prospect activity, forecasting, territory planning, and quota performance.
  • Establish clear expectations for sales targets and consistently deliver strong results.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models that support company goals.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for BPD in health-system-focused growth conversations and market engagement.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
The Essentials:
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing services business development, sales, or consulting, ideally with a focus on healthcare.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and value narratives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with executives, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Strategy, Product, and Executive Leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a hands-on approach and ability to operate both strategically and tactically while leaning into AI tools.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
