Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The Managing Vice President, Food & Beverage is part of the Global Operations (GO) organization, where we work to enrich the experience of the stay - creating value for guests and owners while advancing authentic hospitality As Marriott International approaches its centennial, we are not simply celebrating a remarkable legacy - we are building boldly for the next 100 years. Guided by its Growing Forward strategy, Marriott is harnessing the strength of its brands, global scale, loyal customer base, and people-first culture to accelerate growth, embrace innovation, and create exceptional experiences for guests, owners, associates, and communities around the world. This is a defining moment for Marriott: an opportunity to help shape the next century of hospitality and translate extraordinary momentum into enduring impact.
The Managing Vice President, Food & Beverage will be a critically important executive for the company, shaping the future of Food & Beverage across Marriott International's global portfolio, setting the enterprise vision and strategic roadmap for approximately 22,000 outlets spanning managed, franchised, and third-party operating models. Rather than relying on direct intervention in individual markets, this leader influences through others - engaging senior continent, brand, owner, franchise, and functional stakeholders to translate enterprise F&B priorities into action. As Marriott's most senior Food & Beverage leader, the Managing Vice President brings industry gravitas, cultivates strategic relationships with leading external organizations and partners, and represents Marriott on the global stage. • Oversees collaborative concept, product, and service development, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and design integrity while strengthening enterprise operating capability.

Operational Excellence & Business Performance

  • Improves operational excellence and maintains high standards across restaurant, culinary, meetings and events, service, programming, and bar operations.
  • Drives disciplined performance excellence across the Food & Beverage platform by defining the enterprise scoreboard, monitoring the outcomes that support both owner economics and enterprise priorities, and using stakeholder insight and operating data to accelerate adoption, address performance gaps, and improve business results across customers, owners, franchisees, associates, and partners.
