Job Summary:
The VP, Finance is responsible for ensuring the company's financial health across past, present, and future operations. This role leads finance, accounting, and IT teams, manages budgeting and forecasting, supports M&A and capital allocation, oversees cash flow, and ensures compliance with tax and legal requirements. This position is strategic, focusing on driving EBITDA, optimizing financial processes, and building a strong finance function that supports growth and investment readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting: Ensure accurate monthly close, standardized reporting, and adherence to tax and legal obligations with external CPA firm
  • Finance: Manage budgets, forecasts, financial modeling, and provide insights to department heads to drive growth and margin improvement
  • Treasury: Maintain and grow cash; monitor AR/AP and escalate overdue receivables
  • Risk & Legal: Partner with insurance and legal providers to meet all requirements and follow up on inquiries
  • Corporate Development: Support M&A initiatives and provide due diligence, modeling, and financial insights
  • Leadership: Build a strategic finance team, set expectations, and empower team members with clear guidance and communication
  • Approve offers, raises, promotions, and ensure departmental accountability to margins and financial goals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA is a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 5+ years in leadership within digital agencies or similar service industries
  • Expertise in capital allocation, budgeting, and financial modeling
  • Experience with M&A, debt strategy, tax planning, and investment readiness
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to hold business units accountable to goals, drive EBITDA growth, and optimize cash management
