Job description

Company Description
Tasked with tackling a labyrinth of payers and organized customers, with limited resources, payer marketers can sometimes feel trapped between a rock and-well...you know.
Which is why our clients need an agency that knows how to rock in a hard space. Since day one, Payer Sciences has approached managed markets from a different angle. We firmly believe the truth lies in the data. We relentlessly analyze what formulary decision-makers and prescribers actually do, revealing patterns and practices that impact stakeholders across the treatment journey, and drive bottom-line results.
This disciplined approach requires an investment in sharp minds and multiple perspectives. To that end, Payer Sciences has assembled a flat and flexible organization, with analytics, consulting and communications living together under one roof-as one fully aligned team-so that we're always ready to rock. No matter how hard the space.
Payer Sciences is part of Publicis Health North America, and a subsidiary of the Publicis Group (OTCQX: PUBGY).
Overview
As a VP on Payer Sciences' Consulting and Client Engagement Team, you will serve as the primary owner of client relationships, leading the execution of projects across our full spectrum of capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires team collaboration, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
You will have the opportunity to:
  • Define market access launch strategies
  • Develop and deliver compelling client presentations
  • Interpret data findings to shape strategies
  • Lead market research initiatives and workshops
  • Guide development of marketing materials

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to apply strategic and analytical skills across a broad range of projects, while learning new approaches from a highly experienced and collaborative cross-functional team. It's ideal for someone looking to grow in communications, analytics, market research, strategy consulting, or software development/support.
Responsibilities
Client Management and Project Leadership:
  • Serve as the senior leader responsible for managing market access and payer marketing client relationships.
  • Oversee and guide cross-functional teams, including client engagement (e.g. account services and project management), analytics, editorial, art, and creative partners.
  • Lead day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Proactively develop innovative approaches and solutions for client challenges.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client competitive landscapes and business objectives.
  • Advise clients on managed markets issues affecting their brands.
  • Organize and communicate complex data and strategic concepts in a clear, concise manner.
  • Identify and address critical project issues and challenges.
  • Stay current on market access trends and pharmaceutical marketing regulations.

Project Execution:
Depending on project needs, your responsibilities may also include:
  • Structuring and interpreting data analyses to uncover insights and inform strategy.
  • Leading execution of qualitative and quantitative market research, including recruiting, interviewing, developing guides, and summarizing findings.
  • Developing polished PowerPoint presentations that clearly present insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Helping shape product value propositions and tactics for payer audiences.
  • Ensuring that creative efforts align with client feedback and marketing objectives, working closely with art and copy teams to maintain high creative standards.

Qualifications
Skills and Competencies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Clear, concise communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and data storytelling ability
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Effective delegation and mentorship of internal teams
  • Strong time management and proactive problem-solving
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Team-oriented and highly collaborative
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Qualifications
  • 15+ years of professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within consulting or agency environments
  • 10+ years of market access experience
  • Background in management consulting, marketing, or agency settings is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's, PharmD, or other advanced degrees preferred
  • Professional maturity, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude
