Job description

Company Description

Leap Consulting Group helps organizations modernize operations, technology, data, and business processes through strategy, digital transformation, software selection, implementation, and operational improvement services.

Our consultants work directly with executives, operational leaders, and technology teams to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful results. We serve clients across healthcare, life sciences, financial services, nonprofit organizations, and other industries.

Job Description

We are seeking a Consulting Analyst to join our growing team.

This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants accelerated exposure to consulting, technology, business operations, project delivery, and executive-level problem solving.

You will work directly with senior consultants and client leadership on projects involving business process improvement, software implementation, digital transformation, data and reporting initiatives, operational optimization, and strategic planning.

This is not a role where you will be assigned a narrow set of responsibilities and spend years doing the same thing. Successful candidates enjoy learning quickly, taking ownership, solving problems, and working in an environment where every day is different.

This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy working in a smaller, entrepreneurial consulting environment rather than a large corporate organization. Team members are expected to take initiative, manage their responsibilities independently, and contribute wherever needed to help clients succeed.

We are willing to teach industry knowledge, consulting methodologies, and technology platforms. What we cannot teach is curiosity, accountability, professionalism, communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Business Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Gather and document business requirements
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops
  • Create process maps and workflow documentation
  • Analyze business challenges and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop user stories, functional requirements, and solution recommendations
  • Support future-state process design initiatives

Project Delivery

  • Coordinate project activities across multiple stakeholders
  • Track action items, risks, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Maintain project documentation and status reporting
  • Support software implementation and digital transformation projects
  • Assist with testing, training, deployment, and change management activities

Client Engagement

  • Work directly with client stakeholders and project teams
  • Participate in workshops, planning sessions, and working meetings
  • Prepare presentations, meeting summaries, and project deliverables
  • Help clients navigate complex business and technology decisions

Continuous Learning

  • Learn new industries, technologies, and business processes quickly
  • Develop expertise across multiple client environments
  • Contribute ideas that improve client outcomes and internal operations
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional presence and client-facing maturity
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and business concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, consulting, project coordination, operations, or business analysis experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, Notion, or similar platforms
  • Experience documenting processes, workflows, or requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced professional environment
Additional Information

Successful team members are:

  • Self-directed and proactive
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Highly organized
  • Dependable and accountable
  • Strong communicators
  • Comfortable working directly with clients
  • Willing to take ownership and figure things out
  • Energized by solving problems rather than waiting for instructions

Why Leap?

  • Competitive compensation including base salary and performance incentives.
  • Health benefits, retirement plan, and professional development support.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful work from Day 1.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven environment that values innovation, trust, and impact.
