Consulting Analyst

Job Description Summary

As a Consulting Analyst within Cushman & Wakefield’s Total Workplace organization, you will collaborate with senior team members throughout the consulting process for a range of clients across all commercial real estate types. Analysts are responsible for providing analytical support, information research, financial modeling, report writing and, work paper organization and management to support real estate strategy engagements. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience and interest in gathering and assembling data, using analytical and quantitative methods to analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations that support the client and team goals.

Job Description

  • Ideally, our final candidate will work out of a local office in the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, or Montreal area.
  • Working with team members, research, perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, and then organize data into logical communication and messages as part of client presentation materials.
  • Assist with real estate and financial modeling, labor cost models and other quantitative projections.
  • Ability to work with external databases and incorporate analytics into client presentations.
  • Assisting team members, use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other applicable presentation tools to prepare, organize and demonstrate recommended models for client presentations.
  • Help with the preparation and scheduling of team-client meetings.
  • Support and contribute to a collaborative, teamwork environment
  • Respond to team requests in a timely manner, meeting all team and project deadlines
  • Attend client presentations to assist and support senior team members
  • Build effective client relationships to help the team meet or exceed client needs
  • Meet all project deadlines
  • Assist in project tracking and administration
  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data for inclusion into client briefings, presentations, and reports
  • Assist senior team members in the research and development of white papers and industry reports

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning or related field preferred, MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 2+ years consulting and/or industry experience in commercial real estate experience preferred
  • Solid economic, financial, and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of mapping software (ArcGIS) and data analytics software (Alteryx & PowerBI) a plus
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit high quality, error free written materials in English.
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and financial aptitude
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects, keeping all team members informed of progress and issues
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel, as needed. Travel estimated up to 25% but can vary due to client need
