Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting clinical applications within the enterprise EHR. Applies working knowledge of system build, workflow design, and application configuration to ensure reliable and compliant system performance. Collaborates with clinicians, IT teams, and vendors to support enhancements, testing, and end-user adoption.
Essential Functions
• Configures and maintains assigned clinical applications to support operational and clinical needs.
• Performs system build activities, including workflows, rules, and data elements.
• Troubleshoots application issues, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions.
• Participates in testing activities for upgrades, patches, and new features.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend improvements.
• Develops and maintains documentation of configurations, workflows, and testing outcomes.
• Provides end-user training and support during implementations and system changes.
• Ensures compliance with IT policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to peer review and quality assurance of build activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
