Role Description
  • The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a full-time, hybrid position based in Addison, Texas, with flexibility for partial remote work. This role is initially structured as a 3-month contract engagement with a strong potential to transition into a permanent executive leadership position based on performance and business needs.
  • The CMO will be responsible for leading ZENfra's overall marketing strategy, product positioning, brand narrative, and go-to-market execution. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, sales, product, and customer success teams to develop compelling market messaging, drive demand generation, and accelerate revenue growth.

A key objective of this role is to validate and sharpen ZENfra's value proposition, differentiate the company in the rapidly evolving AI, Infrastructure, Security, and FinOps markets, and mentor our global marketing team, including our marketing operations team based in India.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Positioning & Messaging
  • Refine and strengthen ZENfra's market positioning across InfraOps, SecOps, FinOps, AIOps, and Cybersecurity.
  • Develop compelling messaging frameworks and value propositions for enterprise buyers.
  • Validate customer pain points, use cases, and market opportunities.
  • Create differentiated narratives that resonate with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Infrastructure Leaders, IT Operations Teams, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing, sales, and customer-facing channels.
Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive pipeline growth and market awareness.
  • Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, and target industry segments.
  • Lead product marketing initiatives for ZENfra's platform and solution portfolio.
  • Partner with sales leadership on account-based marketing (ABM) and revenue-generating programs.
  • Support market expansion and strategic growth initiatives.
Demand Generation & Brand Building
  • Oversee digital marketing, content marketing, partner marketing, and demand generation activities.
  • Drive thought leadership programs, analyst relations, PR initiatives, webinars, events, and executive visibility.
  • Build content strategies that support awareness, consideration, and purchasing decisions.
  • Improve marketing contribution to pipeline creation and revenue generation.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis initiatives.
  • Monitor trends across AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, Automation, and FinOps markets.
  • Identify positioning opportunities, market gaps, and growth strategies.
  • Translate market intelligence into actionable business recommendations.
Marketing Team Leadership & Enablement
  • Mentor and develop ZENfra's global marketing organization.
  • Train and elevate the capabilities of the India-based marketing operations team.
  • Establish scalable marketing processes, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
Executive & Revenue Alignment
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product management, and sales teams.

  • Define KPIs and measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to leadership.
QualificationsRequired
  • 15+ years of progressive B2B technology marketing leadership experience.
  • Previous experience as a CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Marketing, or Product Marketing Executive.
  • Proven success marketing enterprise software, SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
