HVAC Senior Service Tech

Annaville Air Conditioning Inc.

Corpus Christi, TX โ€ข On-site

$600 - $1.1K/day

Full-time

Re-posted 7 days ago

Job description

Corpus Christi, TX.   We currently have openings for a year around full time tech and an opening for a summer only tech (4-5) months.
Residential & light commercial A/C Senior Service Tech:
  • None of our competitors will match our compensation plan. We are a small minority of HVAC companies where service techs can reasonably earn a 6 figure income.
  • We are not 24/7, and we never work in the dark.
  • We are open half a day on Saturday and closed on Sundays.
  • You will be expected to rotate Saturday calls.
  • We stop taking calls at 12pm on Saturday, so you may get off the second half of the day if you are on the Saturday call.
  • 4 years of recent/current verifiable residential/light commercial service tech experience is a must.
  • If you do not have 4 years of recent & verifiable residential service tech history, please do not apply.
  • Service truck to take home provided.

A word from the owner: I routinely get asked if this is some sort of scam or pie-in-the-sky earnings. My answer to that is if you are truly good, You should make a bare minimum of $600 daily during the busy season. We have techs averaging  $800 a day during the busy season with $1200 days not uncommon.
  • Senior Service Techs perform service & repair only, no installs.
  • AC sales are an option for Techs.
  • We have very competitive pricing on Trane & Rheem equipment and sales are easy to close with generous commissions.

Many of you in the trade who have tried the residential side have given up due to over-promising & under-delivering on the compensation. This is very much in part because of the seasonality of the residential side.
Our business is seasonal and always will be. However, our compensation plan allows you to make a very good annual pay within just 4-5 months of a busy summer. If you budget your earnings for the year, you will not be concerned about the slow off-season, but look forward to it so you can do other things with your time besides work.
Corpus Christi, TX.
