Mobile Communication and Device Administrator – United States

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and support of mobile communication systems and devices across U.S. operations. Ensures mobile technologies align with business needs, are secure, and cost‑effective.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of mobile devices including procurement, activation, configuration, and decommissioning.
  • Administer and facilitate mobile device management (MDM) platforms to enforce security policies and manage inventory.
  • Support end‑users with mobile device issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Coordinate with mobile carriers and vendors to manage service plans, billing, and escalations.
  • Monitor mobile usage and generate reports to identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure policy compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of mobile assets and user assignments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for mobile device policies, procedures, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards related to mobile communications.
  • Collaborate with EIT and security teams to implement mobile security protocols and respond to incidents.
  • Stay current with mobile technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance mobile communication programs by improving efficiency, personalization, and decision‑making.
  • Supplier management responsibilities, ensuring cost‑effective procurement, high‑quality vendor performance, and strategic alignment with mobile technology needs.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships and oversee contract compliance to support seamless device and communication operations.

  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Project management experience in mobile technology deployments.
  • Mobile communications supplier relationship management.
