Dental Hygienist

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Position DetailsWe are seeking a full-time, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and confident working independently while maintaining excellent patient care standards. This role is well-suited for a hygienist who enjoys building patient relationships and managing their schedule effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver preventive and periodontal hygiene services with a patient-centered approach
- Educate patients on oral health, home care, and treatment recommendations
- Build strong rapport with patients through clear communication and engaging interactions
- Work independently while maintaining consistency and quality of care
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
- Manage appointment times efficiently in a flexible schedule environment
- Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Contribute positively to a supportive and professional team culture
- Active Dental Hygienist license in good standing (Kentucky)
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused work ethic
- Commitment to high-quality, ethical dental care

Qualifications:- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
