We welcome everyone and are dedicated to creating a culture where all our employees have equal opportunity to be heard and reach their full potential.What you'll doLead multiple software engineering teams on various SaaS-based applications spanning multiple technology stacksDrive the adoption and standardisation of software development tools and processesDevelop a culture which empowers high employee engagement and cohesive, collaborative teams across domains and locationsEffectively inspire and influence teams and partners in delivering technology-enabled business solutions with high availability and reliabilityDrive innovation while utilising emerging technologies and make recommendations on the strategic use of technology to improve the consumer experienceWork closely with other technology and infrastructure teams to foster an environment of the right tools and practices for application developmentContinuously monitor and improve on practices to drive optimal efficiency and speed of innovationDefine technology standards, architectures, and strategic directions to optimise security, stability, and scalability of the R&D software development lifecycleWho you areAt least 5 years of experience as a Director of Software Engineering, preferably in a comparably complex organisation delivering technology products and servicesExperience in a senior role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in development and implementation of software solutionsProven leadership capability – both developing leadership within your team and demonstrating leadership among peersExpertise with Agile, SCRUM and other industry-standard frameworks – implementation and executionExperience with the following technologies: Cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure), Microsoft 365, virtual telephony, monitoring and alerting tools, business systems (CRM, Sales/Marketing tools, Billing, Accounting, Finance, HR, etc.)Ability to coach and mentor technical managers, leaders, and developersStrong leadership, listening, interpersonal and organisational skillsAbility to verify and define requirements for projects and requestsAbility to properly assess and articulate riskExcellent customer-service orientationCapable of meeting deadlines with a focus on results and value creationBenefit offerings designed to promote a life of balanceAt Ministry Brands, we recognise that your career is just one important piece of your dynamic life.
