About the role:

Responsible for developing, delivering and measuring field-based sales and marketing programs, including but not limited to sales technique training, sales and marketing co-sponsored programs, product launches, market development and field personnel development. Collaborates with area vice presidents, directors and regional managers to provide sales training and ensure the objectives for field representatives are met. Coordinates coaching and development opportunities with area vice presidents, directors and regional managers. Works with field representatives to identify and evaluate training opportunities. Plans program design and support documentation.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
This role is remote and can be performed from a home office within the United States. Candidates must be able to support business needs across multiple time zones as required. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage the needs assessment, design, development, delivery and measurement of onboarding, skills training and continuing education for the field sales organization.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify needs, develop solutions and deliver programs that enable high performance.
• Optimize the field sales team's learning and proficiency through effective coaching and application of learning.
• Collaborate across multiple functions to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
• Develop new and maintain existing curriculum to meet organizational goals and needs.
• Design, manage and drive an engaging and effective continuous education program to reinforce training concepts using learning technology where appropriate.
• Train and coach sales management through train-the-trainer events in preparation for product or service launches, supporting a cascade of learning to the field sales team.
• Partner in the design, build and facilitation of training content for sales events, such as area meetings and the National Sales Meeting.
• Support building and managing external vendor partner relationships.
• Maintain a close relationship with the HR partner and align training with talent planning and overall organizational objectives.
• Work closely with sales training, marketing and internal and external partners on content and flow of show for the National Sales Meeting.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in learning and development, adult education or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in medical device or health care.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in DBS neuromodulation.
• Excellent listening, presentation, organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of online learning management systems and web delivery tools.
• Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory and implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce high-quality results with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with outside vendors and consultants.
Preferred qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a trainer or training facilitator, including coordination of multiple training events.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct training in one-on-one, classroom and virtual learning environments utilizing web conferencing and other tools.
• Experience with user experience design.
• Experience with Salesforce and Showpad Coach.
• Working knowledge of and interest in the evolving health care landscape.
• Extensive knowledge of sales skills, processes and methodologies and/or previous sales experience.
Work environment / travel:
• Ability to travel 40% to 50%.
