Job Description

The P&C Project Manager, Learning and Development, manages Learning & Development projects from planning through implementation. This role focuses on coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies, while ensuring projects align with organizational goals. The position also supports process improvements, implementation of technology enhancements, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the L&D function.

Job Summary

The P&C Project Manager, Learning & Development, manages Learning & Development projects from planning through implementation. This role focuses on coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies, while ensuring projects align with organizational goals. The position also supports process improvements, implementation of technology enhancements, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the L&D function.

Job Duties
  • Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of select projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
  • Collaborates with National L&D team members and business stakeholders to establish project goals and support assigned learning initiatives across project lifecycle for scoping to implementation
  • Develops detailed project plans, allocates resources, monitors accountabilities and monitors/adjusts progress to ensure successful project completion that maximizes the firm’s resources
  • Leads or supports internal L&D projects (e.g., Operating model changes, process enhancements, tool rollouts)
  • Manages dependencies across teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution
  • Promotes consistent, disciplined project execution without unnecessary complexity
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing requirements
  • Supports the implementation of new learning technologies, platforms, and methodologies as part of project delivery
  • Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Supports governance, escalation, and decision-making processes as needed

Education Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree, required
Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in learning and supporting adult continuing education in a corporate environment, required
  • Experience managing the work of direct and/or indirect reports, required
  • Experience with program management as well as both e-learning and face-to-face training from concept to application, required
  • Experience at a professional services firm, required, in a corporate environment (accounting, consulting or advisory, etc.), preferred
  • Experience applying adult learning concepts, preferred
License/Certifications

  • Able to gather, analyze, and apply feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Able to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Able to support governance and escalation workflows in a structured manner

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $60,000 - $85,000

Maryland Range: $60,000 - $85,000

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $60,000 - $85,000
